Get ready: Today’s 20-minute sequence is going to work your core. Usually when you hear about “core work,” it’s in reference to six-pack abs. But that’s not the focus here. This is about awakening and integrating the core of your body with the rest of you. You’ll be creating stability through the center of your body, which benefits, well, just about everything. Posture? Check. Balance? You bet. Ease of movement? Just got easier. Bad back? Core work is your best friend. A strong core will help you in all of your yoga poses and in just about any movement you do, as you move strongly from your center.

This heating, energizing sequence is great to do in the morning or the early part of the day.
