When was the last time you scheduled some ‘time out’ for yourself? Whether it’s taking 5 minutes to have a cup of tea or setting aside some time in the afternoon for a rest and relax on the couch or outdoors, we all need some scheduled time each day to recuperate and recharge.
I don’t know about you but I feel that I live quite a ‘full’ life, between study, work, and commitments with family and friends! I must admit that I have designed my life this way as I actually thrive on being busy and find it fulfilling to have a number of projects on the go at any one time. On top of work and other commitments, many of you may have children as well, and may feel as though life is indeed ”overflowing’ with the buzz of family and activities.
No matter what your life looks like, ensure you take time out each day to relax and unwind, and allow your brain to have a rest after a hard day of work! Personally, reading in bed is the ultimate luxury for me, and I love to do this every night before I go to sleep (usually something inspiring – at the moment it’s Eckhart Tolle’s, ‘The Power of Now’ 🙂 Don’t forget to schedule a little relax time into your day!
