Jean-Guy Martin ~ Poetry

Rainbow in the Dark

Once we could see the stars at night, I remember
No need to protect eyes from U V rays, I remember
No sunscreen prevention lotions, I still remember
No smog around our cities, yes I can remember

Slowly with time, we deeply fell asleep without caring
Mother earth left abandoned suffering and weeping
Out of oblivion fragile yet unbreakable human
Of your love and light please reclaim possession
