The next time you find yourself complaining about your life, or another person, or about how you have failed, slow way down. This is no ordinary moment.
An emissary has appeared out of the unseen, but has done so in a way that the mind cannot quite apprehend. But the body knows. The heart knows.
Slow way down. Surround yourself with warmth. Use the energy of the sensual world to return home, cutting into billions of moments of abandoning the erupting aliveness of the here and now.
Using the breath as your guide, send your awareness on a journey, out of the swirling narrative and into the center of the vulnerability that is surging under the surface. You can return to the story later, from a more centered, embodied, and spacious place.
Use the urge to complain as a sacred invitation, that it is time to take care of yourself in a radically new way. Your vulnerability, your tenderness, your sensitivity is calling. Rather than attack it with shame, blame, and resentment, meet it with your presence, with your curiosity, and with your kindness.
Ask yourself what it is that you truly need right now, what you have abandoned in yourself, and whether you are willing to finally hold and reintegrate the raw, naked feelings, emotions, and sensations which have been trying to reach you for so long.
They will continue to look for you, shape-shifting and taking form as your lovers, your children, your parents… as the sun, the moon, the stars, and the oceans… even as the colors in a midsummer sky.
Through this holy aspiration, you come back into your power and step back into the reality that you are a warrior of love, come here not only to heal yourself but to be a vessel of presence and transmutation for all beings.
A Healing Space… reflections on love, intimacy, and the aliveness of immediate experience
